China's first high-power concentrating solar power station connected to the grid for power generation

Xinhuanet Jinan, January 17 (Reporter Yang Jinxin) China's third-generation solar power generation technology has achieved a major breakthrough in the development of industrialization. The 200KW high-power concentrating solar demonstration power station constructed by Qingdao Hagong Solar Energy Co., Ltd. has been connected to the grid for power generation and has been certified by the national authorities. This is the first high-poly operation in China that has been built in accordance with commercial operation and grid-connected power generation and operation. Photovoltaic solar power stations are also the most efficient grid-connected solar power stations in the country.

According to Yang Shuhua, president of the Qingdao Hagong Solar Energy Research Institute, the high-power concentrating solar power generation technology is called third-generation solar power generation technology. Compared with the widely used crystalline silicon and thin film solar power generation technologies, it has low power generation cost and land use area. Small, high power generation efficiency, wide operating temperature, short energy reimbursement time, and the efficiency of sustainable improvement.

Based on the Qingdao Solar Energy Research Center of Harbin Institute of Technology, Qingdao Hagong Solar Energy Co., Ltd. conducted in-depth research on solar power generation technology, and mastered core technologies such as high-efficiency algorithms for solar power generation and high-power high-precision tracking control. Based on this, we successfully developed a low-cost and high-efficiency high-power solar power generation system. According to reports, this power generation system uses optical components to collect sunlight onto the surface of a small area, high-efficiency triple-junction gallium arsenide solar cell, with a converging multiple of 500 times. The high-power tracking control technology can achieve a control accuracy of 0.1 degree. Can accurately measure the wind speed, strong wind resistance, these technologies have reached the leading domestic and international advanced level.

On January 15, the Solar Energy Certification Department of the National Institute of Metrology, Jian Heng Certification Center awarded the first "200 KW Sun Certified High Power Concentrating Photovoltaic Demonstration Power Station" plaque for the power station.
It is understood that Qingdao Hagong Solar Energy Co., Ltd. 10MW high-power concentrating solar power station is about to start construction. Experts believe that high-power concentrating solar power generation technology, with its low-cost and high-efficiency characteristics, can, if it can be applied on a large scale, relieve the energy supply shortage in China to some extent, and bring about good economic and social benefits.
