Audrey Zibelman, CEO of the Australian Energy Market Operator, who is responsible for the Australian grid project, said that the new lithium battery energy storage system will be ready by December 1, 2017. It is reported that the wind power plant owned by Neoen is located near Jamestown, and the electricity delivered by the wind power plant will be stored in the system.
